Elasticity and flexibility
Bridges cracks up to 1.5 mm with no visible trace. Withstands vibration and thermal expansion of the substrate.
Flexible flooring systems
Polyurethane coatings stand out for their exceptional elasticity and resistance to temperature fluctuations, making them the ideal choice for car parks, the food industry and areas subject to vibration. Unlike epoxy systems, polyurethane coatings do not crack when the substrate expands thermally.

UV resistant
ECOPOD installs one- and two-component polyurethane systems from 1 to 9 mm thick, with or without decorative additives, certified to European standards.
Benefits
When elasticity and durability come first.
Bridges cracks up to 1.5 mm with no visible trace. Withstands vibration and thermal expansion of the substrate.
Retains colour and gloss under direct UV radiation. Suitable for open-air car parks and covered ramps.
The seamless, non-porous surface prevents mould and bacteria growth — approved for food areas.
Performs without deformation from −40°C to +80°C. Indispensable in cold stores and hot production areas.
Higher abrasion resistance than epoxy systems. Ideal for areas with heavy wheeled traffic.
Over 100 colours from the RAL chart. Decorative flock and flake additives for a refined finish.
Installation
A precise four-step process for a flawless result.
Testing of substrate moisture, strength and adhesion. Selecting the right system for the expected load.
Mechanical treatment by diamond grinding. Filling defects with polyurethane resin.
Polyurethane primer → base layer → protective topcoat. Anti-slip additives where needed.
Final check with an adhesion tester. Handover with a written warranty and maintenance instructions.
Applications
Resistant to tyres, oils and chemical cleaning agents.
Hygienic, food-contact-approved coatings for kitchens and processing plants.
Antibacterial coatings resistant to disinfectants and medicines.
Stays elastic at low temperatures. Does not crack under thermal shock.
Elastic cushioning underfoot. Anti-slip finishes for safety.
Resistant to vibration, heavy machinery and aggressive chemicals.
FAQ
Epoxy floors are harder and more chemically resistant. Polyurethane floors are elastic and more resistant to UV and temperature changes. The choice depends on the application — for car parks and the food industry we prefer polyurethane, for heavy industrial production — epoxy.
Yes. Our polyurethane systems are certified for contact with food products in accordance with EU regulations. The seamless surface does not harbour bacteria and can be cleaned with industrial disinfectants.
On average 2–4 days for a site of up to 1000 m². We can work in shifts or outside working hours to minimise production downtime.
Yes. Polyurethane coatings withstand cleaning with alkaline and acidic agents, including chlorine solutions and industrial disinfectants at concentrations of up to 10%.
