Who processes your data
The controller of your personal data is ECOPOD Pokriv Serviz, UIC BG208608736, Varna, Bulgaria (“ECOPOD”, “we”). This policy explains what personal data we collect through ecopodpokrivbg.com, why, and what your rights are under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Act. What data we collect
- Request form: name, phone, selected service, area and description of the site, and the page it was sent from.
- Phone call, email or message via Viber, WhatsApp or Telegram: phone number, name and message content.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, device, date and time of the visit — in the hosting server logs.
- Analytics and advertising cookie data — only with your consent (see the Cookie Policy).
Why we use it and on what legal basis
- Replying to your request, site visit, quote and carrying out the job — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps and the contract).
- Accounting and tax obligations under a signed contract — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation).
- Website security, protection against spam and abuse — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
- Visit analytics and ad measurement — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for their own marketing. We make no automated decisions and no profiling with legal effects on you. We send no promotional messages unless you explicitly ask for them.
Who we share data with
Only with providers the website and our service cannot work without, and only to the extent needed:
- Hostinger — website and email hosting (servers in the EU).
- Google (Analytics, Ads) and Microsoft (Clarity) — only if you allowed “Analytics” or “Marketing”.
- Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel) — only if you allowed “Marketing”. When a request is sent, the phone number is passed to Meta in hashed (irreversibly encoded) form to measure ad results.
- Viber, WhatsApp, Telegram — when you message us there yourself; their own privacy policies also apply.
- Public authorities — only when required by law.
Transfers outside the EU
Google, Microsoft and Meta may process data in the USA. Such transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
How long we keep data
- Requests that did not lead to a contract — up to 2 years after the last contact.
- Contract and invoice data — 10 years, as required by the Bulgarian Accountancy Act.
- Server logs — briefly, usually up to 30 days.
- Cookies — for the periods listed in the Cookie Policy.
Your rights
At any time you can request:
- access to the data we hold about you and a copy of it;
- rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erasure (“right to be forgotten”) where we have no legal ground to keep it;
- restriction of processing;
- data portability — receiving your data in a machine-readable format;
- to object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- to withdraw consent — without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
How to exercise your rights
Write to us at office@ecopodpokrivbg.com. We reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity so that we do not disclose your data to someone else.
Security
The website works only over a secure connection (HTTPS). Requests are accessible only to the ECOPOD staff who handle them. The form is protected against spam without extra checks for you.
Children
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Right to complain
If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection: 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd., 1592 Sofia, cpdp.bg. We recommend contacting us first — we will try to resolve the issue quickly.

We update this policy when our services, website tools or the law change. The date of the latest revision is shown at the top of the page.
